Zenith’s LTS Team – You’ve done it again!

When the Mona Vale Library branch needed to implement RFID encoding & insertion for its collection of 65,000 items, they approached Zenith’s Library Technical Services (LTS) team for assistance.

The LTS team, led by Project Manager – Julie Daw sprung to action, recruiting and managing a team of 4 specialized staff to undertake the project without disruption to the library’s daily operations. The LTS management team were responsible for staff induction, training, payroll tasks, quality control and also had the responsibility of ensuring that all project activities adhered to agreed policies and procedures.

To control the client budget relevant to the tasks, a fixed price option was chosen based on estimated project duration, where Zenith undertook all the risks associated with staff replacement and project time overruns.

The Results:

While the project was initially scoped for a 4-week duration, the LTS team completed it in 3 weeks and needless to say, the client was very happy with the project deliverables and service component.
