Cataloguing service options

• Several options of record delivery, including adding holdings to Libraries Australia
• Remote cataloguing directly to client library management system, subject to high speed data link
• Customised tags when supported by client library management system
• Transliteration and translation of non-English languages
• Chinese script records
• Multicultural items returned with Libraries Australia Record ID (PPN)
• Remote cataloguing of English books - receive the cataloguing record before you receive the item from your supplier

Shelf ready service

The Zenith customised service ranges from spine label and protector to full covering with stamps, stickers and security tags, complete re-casing of kits, audio or other material, including the resizing of covers.

Other Zenith benefits

Items received direct from suppliers for cataloguing or shelf ready service can be checked against invoice for receipt and condition. Quality standards are constantly monitored throughout all the cataloguing and shelf ready processes.

 Zenith maintains a core library technical services staff and is in a unique position to augment the team for specific contracts by utilising our Staffing and Recruiting Services and extensive database of over 50 experienced cataloguers and 1,000 technical services staff.

Zenith has experience generating economies of scale and subsequent pricing reductions with library purchasing co-operatives.
